It feels like i’m sinking into a tub of whipped cream.
Our combo of super-soft eucalyptus fabric and extra-fluffy recycled fill has made it easy for thousands of customers to fall asleep (but harder for them to get out of bed).
Bedding made better.
Our fabric is made from eucalyptus that's grown using 10x less water than cotton. Unlike traditional down bedding, our fill keeps 50 plastic bottles out of landfills and protects 12 geese from live plucking.
Keep Earth Comfy
We're on a mission to keep you comfortable—without making our planet uncomfortable. The future goal? A closed-loop supply chain by 2030.
Each Buffy Cloud Comforter keeps 50 plastic bottles out of landfill (and far away from our marine friends!) thanks to 100% recycled, extra-fluffy fill sourced in Estonia. What’s more? Its soft cover is made from our signature eucalyptus, harvested from regenerative forests in Austria and the Czech Republic, and sewn with 100% recycled polyester thread.
Quality + Longevity
Eucalyptus lyocell is as durable as cotton (translation: this is a comforter you can enjoy for years to come). For an earth-friendlier wash, we encourage our customers to clean their comforter at a dry cleaner that doesn’t use the chemical perchloroethylene—considered hazardous by the Environmental Protection Agency—in their process. Our Supply Chain team is developing a new, machine-washable recycled fill with all the same marshmallow-y softness as our original, and in the meantime, a duvet cover helps protect your comforter from daily wear and tear.
Transport + Logistics
We offset the CO2 emissions of all shipments from our factory partners to our distribution center to your doorstep and in the future, aim to offset the emissions generated by our entire supply chain. Today, our comforters ship in vacuum-sealed virgin plastic packaging because the alternative—an oversized shipping box—requires additional fuel and excess emissions to ship. Our Supply Chain team is committed to developing a compostable vacuum-sealed alternative.
Returns are an inherently wasteful process, so we encourage our customers to donate products they wish to return (we refund them, of course!) to give the product a second lease on life and reduce CO2 emissions overall. Our roadmap to a closed-loop supply chain includes plans for a return take back program that will allow us to turn worn Buffy products into new, comfy essentials.
It will make you feel like you're sleeping in the softest, fluffiest cloud.
After only a couple nights, I have already fallen in love with the Cloud comforter. It's a perfect balance between warm, cozy, and yet at the same time cool and breathable. It's just a perfect comforter.
