About the Role:

We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Logistics and Fulfillment to join Buffy as a key member of our Operations team. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you’ll be responsible for our logistics strategy– getting goods from factories overseas to our bi-coastal warehouses– along with oversight of our 3PL partners, and end-to-end order fulfillment to retail partners and customers. You will lead our fulfillment and logistics team, and implement processes that will allow us to continue to scale efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of both inbound and outbound logistics and ensure that all stakeholders are updated in a timely manner. Manage all incoming PO’s, book freight and manage potential shipping issues
• Oversight and setup of new EDI drop ship partners
• Manage retail partner fulfillment, including retail drop ship, wholesale, and Amazon fulfillment
• Assist in opening new fulfillment locations with our 3PL partners
• Monitor fulfillment costs, shipping accuracy and performance levels of our fulfillment partners through weekly and monthly reporting

Must Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years work experience with at least 1 year in an operational role at an ecommerce company with a focus in logistics, fulfillment or supply chain
• Experience working with 3rd party logistics vendors
• Competency in Microsoft Office suite, primarily Excel and the use of pivot tables as you will be generating reports and synthesizing data
• Proactive communication, extreme attention to detail, and collaboration with internal and external partners
• Extremely organized and process oriented while still being able to quickly adapt to changes
• Ability to identify pain points or bottlenecks in our processes and design workflows to improve efficiency

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Experience working with Warehouse Management Software
• Experience in wholesale fulfillment and international fulfillment
• Experience with Shopify and Amazon Seller Central
• Experience with Brightpearl
• Experience working with vendors to set up EDI accounts
