Care Instructions
Machine wash cold (large commercial washers work best!) with your favorite pro-planet detergent and hang to dry. You can certainly dry the Cloud in your drying machine - if is a larger format machine and the Cloud fits comfortably. If it's too snug, we encourage you to hang dry the Cloud, so as to avoid potentially damaging the comforter.
To cut down on washes, we recommend spot cleaning with non-bleach cleaners like baking soda, or placing the Cloud in one of our machine-washable duvet covers.

It’s light and cool. I paired it with the breeze sheets and a duvet cover. My only complaint is the comforter not staying centered in the duvet I bought, but that’s my life long battle with duvets playing out, not the comforter’s fault 😂.

How are Buffy products different from other bedding and home brands?
We believe in bedding that is as soft on the earth as it is on your bed. The old-fashioned textile industry has spent years consuming tons of water, harming animals, and polluting our oceans and air with toxic chemicals. We’re here with a fresh start: home goods that are earth-friendly, skin-friendly, cruelty-free, and super-soft. Because we think a comfy night’s sleep is even comfier when it doesn’t harm the environment.
We’re committed to using sustainably-produced fibers and recycled fluff, but that doesn’t have to mean a compromise on comfort. We don’t only choose materials because they’re better for the planet than the more traditional options, but because they just plain feel better, too.

Do you use virgin polyester?
We use GRS-certified 100% recycled polyester made from BPA-free, PET plastic water bottles in both our signature fluffy fill and our recycled polyester fabrics. While we strive to use recycled plastics in every possible application, some of our filled goods such as comforter ship vacuum-sealed in a high-strength virgin plastic that minimizes their shipping footprint.
Is your bedding safe for pets and/or kids?
Yes! Our fabric is made from lyocell, a man-made cellulosic fiber derived from sustainable wood sources like eucalyptus and harvested from sustainably managed forests. When processed into fiber, all essential oils are removed. This makes it safe for pets, children, and those with sensitive skin!
Is Buffy vegan?
Yes, all of our products are vegan. We are cruelty-free and never use animal by-products.
Is Buffy organic certified?
No. Our signature fabric is made from lyocell, a man-made cellulosic fiber derived from a combination of eucalyptus and other wood pulps. The fibers we source for our products have FSC® and PEFC™ certifications for their sustainable forestry practices, but because lyocell is a man-made fiber, it cannot be organic.
