I needed a new setup to replace the many layers of blankets I’ve been using for the winter in the northeast. The duvet cover is soft but not too silky. The only thing I would change is the duvet cover in the “shadow” color was a bit more navy blue in natural light than dark slate/washed black

Works well for me
I really like the pimento color and the look of the cotton material. The ties in the corners make the comforter stay in well and the wooden buttons are cute. My husband would like something with some texture and we will probably try a linen cover for the summer. But I like the texture because I am trying to keep the dust down with my dust allergy so I can easily lint-roll it every day (the cats enjoy sleeping on it!). It is weird that Buffy doesn't make shams in this material so I bought cotton shadow pillow cases instead, which tone the pimento down a bit and adds from contrast. So, I am pleased.

Cotton Duvet Cover

I like my duvet cover a lot. It's comfortable, the color was well represented online, and it fit my duvet well. There are strings in the corners to tie it up, but the strings are sewn up/missing in two of the corners which lessen the efficiency of the cover.

Mixed feelings
I bought the Supima cotton duvet cover in Sandstone color and while I liked how smooth the fabric felt, the color was different from what was shown on the website. The actual product was much lighter than the image. The color was more like that of the Breeze fitted sheet in Sandstone. However I was more impressed with Buffy’s return process. I had never seen anyone to have the returning items to be donated instead of taking them back and do whatever it is that they do with used items. It was convenient enough and also like the idea of helping others.
