Breeze Duvet Cover
The softest duvet cover we make. Eucalyptus lyocell — measurably smoother than cotton under the microscope, so there's less friction against skin and hair. Cool to the touch, wicks moisture 67% faster than cotton, and finished with nothing: OEKO-TEX® Class I, the standard for babies under three.
Feels like: Washed silk without the sheen — cool, fluid, with a heavy, relaxed drape.
Best for: Hot sleepers, sensitive skin, face-on-the-duvet sleepers.
Details: Hidden button closure · interior corner ties · matte finish
Tested: Qmax 0.405 · Intertek | 18,000 rubs · Hohenstein | OEKO-TEX® Class I

Description
300 thread count duvet cover made from 100% TENCEL™ lyocell from Eucalyptus. High performance temperature regulation and moisture absorption. Gentle-on-skin and naturally hypoallergenic. Four extra-large Corner Ties to secure your comforter or duvet insert in place.
Independent Testing & Research:
Fiber smoothness. Under microscopy, lyocell has a nearly circular cross-section and a smooth, cylindrical surface — without the striations, twists, or ridges of cotton and linen (published fiber science, ScienceDirect: Lyocell Fiber). A smoother surface means less friction against the skin, which is what registers as softness.
Skin health. Researchers Love and Nedorost found significant preference among subjects with sensitive skin for lyocell (vs cotton) for its softness, temperature control, moisture control, and wrinkle resistance (published in Dermatitis, Vol 20, Issue 1).
Cool touch. Intertek (FTTS-FA-019) measured a Qmax of 0.405 W/cm² — the higher the Qmax, the faster heat moves from skin to fabric. Most performance-cooling sheets rely on synthetic nylon and spandex. Ours are woven from 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell — a cellulosic fiber from responsibly sourced Eucalyptus — and still test cool.
Moisture management. In peer-reviewed testing at 20°C and 60% humidity, lyocell absorbed 9.23% of its weight in moisture versus cotton's 5.54% — about 67% more. (A controlled fiber test, not a finished-sheet measurement.)
Durability. Hohenstein (ASTM) recorded first thread breakage at 18,000 abrasion rubs (D4966-22), a 4.0–5.0 pilling resistance (D3512), and tear strength of 10.4 lbf warp / 6.4 lbf weft (D1424).
Clean. Certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class I — the strictest class, held to the same standard as textiles for babies under three.

Two generations of experience.
We didn't discover Eucalyptus lyocell last year. Our founder's mill wove it for years — for some of the biggest names in bedding — before Buffy put its own name on it.
